Writing this post I take myself 6 years back, 2004 to be exact when I first met Noura. We were freshmans in Kuwait University, rigid but filled with high expectations. Gradually our friendship grew stronger day by day. We took classes together, skipped some as well , escaped to Marina Mall during our breaks, enjoyed a cup of Coffee at CBTL every now and then..

Noura became one of my best friends and maybe one of the closest ppl to my heart, at our Senior Noura told me she got engaged, I was beyond ecstatic that day she called me while I was taking a walk at Mishref couldn't contain myself from jumping up and down outta happiness..

I don't deny a while after a sad feeling crept to my heart I was telling myself yeah here comes another marriage and here goes my friend..

She'd be gone and never heard off again.. Was feeling sorry for our soon to be lost friendship..

But for my surprise she proved me wrong, since she got married until now our friendship grew stronger each day, we had a fair share of ups and downs every now and then..

However, it didn't set apart and I've been into the worst time of my life Noura's arms was one of the first I reached for and found instantly by my side..

You were my shoulder to cry on, without you and Fara7 rushing by my side I wud've lost my mind..

God bless your hearts, and keep you safe and sound..

Remember His you're blessed for having a true Gem in your live, make sure to please her and put God watchful eyes before you.. She's you're other half.. and Someday the mother of your childern..

Moreover, As I posted beforehand that my blog reached it's Three years already..

When I first started it and called it my memoirs to manage to captivate my memories wether it's sad and happy .. it's true it's been there for me for quite alot.. but everything shall eventually come to an End and sadly my memoirs as well.

Nevertheless, I have to acknowledge each and everyone of you for being there for me:

1. Ansam : Glad to have the honor of meeting you, wonderful family and such

wonderful sisters.

Simply, I feel ashamed for letting such little things get into me. While you on the other hand Humbly stood between the hands of God and asked for mercy, but still solid from the and never lost faith..

My Absence..

When it comes to blogging, I know I've been slacking quite alot..

But I need to let out and vent, My ego is too big to admit it but everyday it's getting harder to repress those nasty feelings..

I'm feeling used and abused, she's a close a friend of mine when I see her my face lights and I can't contain my smile..

lately she's been away only calling or texting because she wants something from me or needs me to get her something and once she done 5alas she doesn't even wanna bother chatting or checking what's up? and when I call her to attend our gatherings or girlies outings she'd be like no I can't busy and such which I know it's a lie!

Ya3ney elma9la7a shlon gayla? I know if I confronted her I won't tolerated her lies by then I'd blow up and she won't hear the bitter facts which she knows it's true but won't admit..

I got married, and you know the weight of responsibilities each newlywed goes into but I never slacked when it came to my friends and family , I consider my friends as family members not seeing them once a week at least and not to forget 2-3 phone calls just saying hello and shlonej?

She got married and turned to someone else, I'm at the bottom of the list not even bothering to buzz unless she needs or wants something as I mentioned ..

I still can't understand why sum girls give up everything when they get married? sheli t'3ayar?

5abzeenej o 3ayneenej ! O elmoshkila after a while when she finds that everyone steered away from her she decided she wanna comeback and hurt us again acclaiming e7na mafeena 5air !

Out of all people I didn't think she'd do that, alot of you would tell me if she doesn't care then why do you care? I simply can't !

But you know if there was a glimpse of hope that she'd fight for me or at least aknowledge the strong frienship we shared, I might have excused her but I know she surrenders too quickly and wouldn't even bother..

Broken friendship ? No doubt :(

On another note, the first two weeks of the holy month passed quickly , no?

Didn't feel hungry at all, but thirsty most of the time but now when the month came to an end hunger is getting quite nasty !

My stomache is always growling, pangs of hunger won't stop and I'm constantly craving food ..

I'm craving Mushroom pizza, burgers, french fries and Mushroom rissoto all at once :/

and lost 4.5 kilo's so far !

- I've been quite inspired by the latest efforts of High steert q8, Meblogging and Thezuz for their personal fashion posts which are quite good since we need such blogs that translates the Kuwaiti fashion inputs , especially for Muhajababes which happens to be behind the scenes alot.. Such Idea been raoming through my head for quite a while but still I want to have different opinions yes/no and why? As for the bloggers I mentioned above I applaude you for your wonderful efforts :**

One last thing before I wrap, what's your Eid plans? Did you get your ouftits ready? As for myself I'm still not sure about our Eid plans but my annouce when the time comes, as for outfits I got loads from UK but still needs to match sum veils and such.

I've been Crowned a Queen a while ago, I know it took me forever ..

Sorry the past few weeks been HECTIC !

First, let me list the rules :

2.What are 6 secrets that no one would notice upon meeting me at the first time?

1- I'm a very sweet person and sometimes people would mistake taking me for granted, but don't you dare stepping on my toes !

2- I appreciate and cherish true frienship, recently I became utterly disappointed some people really doesn't deserve calling them friends to begin with !

All they wanna do is teme9le7 and take , without the intention of compromising or giving back.

Not even uttering the word thank you !

I'm truly drained from those ugly friendships, but it's true bad things happen to good people :(

3- I don't like compliments, I can't conseal my resentment or disappointment, it shows my on my face immediately !

4- I'm not stupid but sometimes I enjoy acting like one !

5- I might have mentioned this before , Jealousy and envy is something I despise BIG TIME!

As my mom "allah y7afe'6ha" brought me up to Admire not to envy!

but I turn green with envy when I see a father daughter at a mall or when I pass by a girls school in the afternoon , I'd be blinded with a array of tears that I can't control !

6- My tears is something I have no control off, I cry when I'm happy, upset, dissapointed, ma'6loma, pissed off or even when listenning to a song in the radio !

Somtimes even when I call my mom and hear her voice, I can't hold my tears, so If you want someone to cry for you !

So it's less than a month until the BIG Twenty Four !

I know what happens every year as one of my friends once said , what to buy a girl who almost has everything ? So my lovelies gonna spare you a part of the trouble and enlist some of the things I'd like to have ;)

It's not important for the gift to be big to make me happy, a thoughtful sms on my B.day would mean alot to me or a piece of candy that you picked up at the local co-op just because you knew I like it , so C'mon who doesn't like gifts and surprises !

Breakfast at Fondue ..

Few days ago, I've heard about Fondue "Melt Away" Serving breakfast from BnD blog so I went ahead and checked it out ..

Our order:

Omellete Fondue:

Cheese Omellete.
Mexican Omellete.
Zaatar Omllete.
Plain Omellete.

It was served with spicy creamy sauce, which didn't like it that much it was on the sweet side more than spicy and along with mini white toasts.

For a person who likes eggs alot I enjoyed the mollete's big time !

We got the French Cubes as well , it's french toast sliced into mini size cubes to dip with chocolate sauce, Maple syrup or strawberry sauce..

I thought the french toast was quite yummy it was kinda glazed and infused with vanilla essence , fun to dip and eat but slightly heavy..

For drinks we got black coffee and mocha , nothing special just the usual thing.

However the service was a bit slow, even when we were the only customres in the restaurant and there's a remark I'd like to enclose which annoyed my brother alot; a lady maybe the owner or someone entered the kitchen with her long hair UN COVERED and she was standing on the counter besides the chef while he was preparing the food ..

We highlighted this to the chef and he was very apologetic, and I really can't deny the friendliness of the staff..

MishMash of " Meli Melo" !

Meli Melo by far is the my favourite Japanese restaurant, food wise, atmosphere wise, and service wise..
I've tried Maki, Wasabi, Sakura, Genki sushi, Edo and wok n' roll so far but Meli Melo comes first and then followed by Sakura and wasabi ;)

Their location isn't the best though, actually it's more like a hole in the wall, but if I want a get away to enjoy lovely food and go crazy without being noticed it's my first choice for sure!

I usually start my meal with ordering a bowl of salted Edmames with spicy sauce on the side for dipping, and Okami "the wife salad" for sure!
Okami is a thinly sliced green salad made from green and red bell peppers, carrots, iceberg lettuce, Gari ginger, white and dark purple cabbage sprinkled with sesame seeds and dashed with delicious Japanese citrus sesame salsa.

Followed by shitake mushroom fried rice which is absolutely yummy !

My Maki order usually go as the following:

First, Kuwaiti Maki( EBI TEMPURA, FRIED HAMOUR, CUCUMBER, AVOCADO IN JAPANESE SAUCE)

I sometimes order it in full portion or half a portion if it's only for me , and another credit for the restaurant that if we're party of 4 or 5 I can order full portion around 10 pieces or half a portion for 2-1 ppl.

The second Maki that I absolutely love is the Sweet Potato Maki( Sweet potato with mayo sesame on sides) , a good choice for someone who doesn't eat sea food (a.k.a my hubby)

Last but not least the infamous Volcano rock Maki (unfortunately I couldn't take a picture of it), it's a good choice if you're a spicy food lover ( Prawn ebi tempura, minus the kani sticks for me,cucumber and crunchy flakes drizzled with sweet & sour salsa on top) but usually I ask them to skip the Harusame noodles on top and add chopped tempura prawns on top instead ..

For drinks it's usually green tea or Cosmo summer berries which is a mixture of raspberry, blueberry and black currant mixed with their own natural sparkling juice.

To end this mouth watering bonanza of food my usual choice of a scoop of green tea ice cream leaves me with a sense of fulfillment that’s really hard to beat!

I've gotta let this outta my system for once of all , just to get rid of this nasty feeling that's been

nesting inside my chest for a while..

Imagine it was your wedding day, your BIG DAY ..

Which you've worked so hard just to make it happen, by looking for the perfect dress, which is the center of attention at most of the weddings and soo many much more details I'm not gonna go through right now..

For your surprise after you enter the ballroom and as you acclaim your thrown , as girls dance happily here and there..

To see your COUSIN, yes your cousin her mom is your mom's sister heavely swaying with her WEDDING DRESS !

The minute I saw her I quicly rewinded her wedding and what I was wearing , then I remembered I was wearing a simply lavender dress to her wedding ..

You're fancy yet simple Herve' Leger dress which you picked out carefully outta the tons of other dresses ..

To be slapped into the face by her HUGE dress , remembering your mom's words everytime you picked out a white dress to wear to a wedding " la may9eer t9keen 3al 3arous ! "

If only one of my friends were smart enough to trip her ..

It'd be much appreciated..

Tell me what kinda respect shall remain after such incident?

Yes, they think i'm to sweet to the point that I can be abused and mom is sickly sweet as well and no dad in the background so you do the math..

The Nut Tree

So the Other day, I drove to the Nut Tree at Mishref Co-op to grab my monthly fix of the spicy Japanese nuts, spicy Japanese crackers and the sugar coated gingers..

Hurriedly I grabbed my purchases and went home to fill my craving , took a handful of the Japanese nuts to realise it was quite stale, So I switched to the 1/4 kilo of the Gingers to realise it was pretty stale as well !

Lousy TASTE !

But fortunetly when I tried the spicy cracker they were quite crunchy and fresh!

However, I got quite disappointed and emailed the Nut Tree to inform them with the situation I have on my hands , thinking it's gonna be the last time i'm gonna buy anything from them!

Two days later, I recieved an E-mail from Mr.Wissam Nasser the managing director of the Nut tree deeply apologizing for such incident ..

Then I got a call from the Operations Manager Mr. Noel Escosura again apologizing ..

But truly what made my day is the sweet gesture of the Nut Tree Family, by sending me this HUGE tray of dried fruits ;)

Which my husband ate the most of it ,since I really don't like dried fruits :Pp haha!

A Huge thanks to The Nut Tree, I DEEPLY appreciate your kind gesture and your efficient efforts to please your customers..

When Dean and Deluca serves Meli Melo Maki's !

Yummy!

So cousin came over to my place badly craving Meli Melo but I had no intention on driving anywhere near Al-sh3eb ..

A little while later, I was browsing some blogs on my phone then I stumbled upon Ansam's blog to find out that my Favourite Japanese restaurant " Meli Melo" serves the delicious food @ Dean & Deluca, Avenues !

We wasted no time and hurriedly we went to Dean & Deluca to stuff our faces with Edmame, Kuwaiti Maki , and Sweet potato Maki ;)

Being connected to the other world or as mom sez " ahal elsema" something made me feel special for while but sumtimes I have to admit it sure scared the hell outta of me !

My dad has only one sister which mom loved to bits and pieces and named me after her , she shared the same name of my mom's mom as well.

Growing up I always had auntie around living in our house , spending many hours in her room , small chitchats , her knitting and enjoying her company until the day she died almost four years ago .

Auntie got paralyzed a year before she died but when she passed away, I was terribly broken hearted for her sudden death . As I feel that elder people bring certain blessing to the place they live in.

Every now and then she visits me in my dreamz , standing on her feet and smiling as I always remembered her to the point that I smell the familiar smell of Henna on her head .

Her visits always brought joy to my heart as after every dream, I rush to mom's arms telling her "yumma, sheft 3maima"

Three weeks ago , auntie paid me a visit as well . I was over the sky since I haven't seen her in a while she was exteremely happy and her face was glowing . Told mama about the dream but skipped a significant part that I told auntie before she leaves " Auntie, how come dad never paid me a visist? I miss him terribly plz tell him I said hello ! "

Until today I was sleep and had this dream of mom she was arranging the house as if we had some occassion , fixing flowers , sitting the tables , and adjusting the chairs..

She was like expecting someone to come as if we had a reception goin' on or something until the house main door opened as I gazed to see who came in to see my Dad's in his grey suit entering the living room and mommy's rushed to his arms ..

Daddy dearest I'm glad to finally see you , it's been awhile I sure missed you and your visit meant the world to me .. Love you..

Which reminds me , two dayz ago I was with a friend laying on the beach when a father and his daughter passed by . I couldn't conrol myself and broke into tears..

My dear friend , thnx for being the shoulder to cry on . I'm sorry if I made you confused or uncomfortable ..

I JUST HATE IT ! for me it's like trespassing over my privacy ! Can't you just wait once i'm done then tell me whatever you wish for .

4. As soon as I take a sip of a drink I rush into the loo within 15 minutes :S

5. I broke my toe when i was 8 years old , it still looks kinda awkward .

9. Now I came to realize that it's not important to live happy it's enough to be satisfied with what you have.

A Nightmare Called Manga Part III

Anyhow I'll try to cut the week long nightmare short , as it contained:

- Manga peeing on herself.
-Running around half naked.
- An attempt of strangling my mom during prayer.
- Breaking the water tabs .
- Taking showers fully clothed.
-Booked her a ticket to leave but the Airport security won't let her board the plane as she was considered a danger to other passengers.
-Pulling my brothers '3utra while he's driving.
-Pulling me from the back of the car.
-Police won't take her in , the agent won't reply our calls nor the embassy .

Eventually we had to drop her off at the Mental Hospital were she stayed there for 2 weeks , On Thursday she board the plane to HaidarAbad.

Note:

Dropping her to the mental hospital was really hard we couldn't sleep for 3 dayz , it made me think about sometimes when we read on the news that some dude abandoned his mom or dad off..

How could they sleep at nighty with a clear conscious ..

A nightmare called Manga II

Finally I can put the dots on this nightmare which seemed to never ends, Incase you were wondering it's not the fruit which Purg's adores nor the latest trend in the blogsphere which Ruby's hate neither the Japanese Animation which my Shosho's son is crazy about ..
Though I wish it was one of the listed above , it could be alot easier on me & my family but tonight I am assured that this nightmare came to an END!

Manga is an Indian housemaid who served in our house 5 monthes ago , things were smooth until then but during the Eid vacation the 2nd day to be more specific ..
I heard someone wailing and calling my mom's as I rushed downstairs to figure out what's goin' on to find Manga on the living room floor with her hair all over the place yelling from the top of her head repeatedly saying " Rasia 6egee ; Rasia had beaten me" practically Manga to put it more literally kanat t9afe3 3ala 3umerha therefore our other maid has beaten her the previous day and when she told my mom about the incident Rasia went on and banged her once more for telling my mom..
What's funny is that Manga is double the size of the other maid , nevertheless she didn't attack her back..
In the days after the other maids told mom that Manga haven't slept for the past two day as she passed the nights crying all night long , until the third night when Manga left home at 1 am ringing the door of the neighbours asking for their maids , at this I can assure you that the moment the nightmare started.. It was hard to convince her to come inside and to keep the police off the matter..

That night as I was awaked by constant bangs on a wooden serface which I couldn't realize it was Manga who was banging the door downstairs and calling for the maids name & my nephew's..
@ 7:30 am I Rushed downstairs with one thought on my mind that the maids had locked her out or something , to be surprised that Manga is in her room still banging the door ..

I called her name but she didn't respond and resumed on banging but the door across the her room where the other maid slept opened as my sister's maid peeked her frightened face outta the door telling me that Manga had gone nuts and the knocking action took place for over 2 hours for now ! Not to forget her yelling Zabo0o6a run for your life ! :/

I entered the house telling my mom what happened dressed in my pj's , barefoot, and shivering mom tried to open the door but Manga wouldn't let her in until it was 9 am .. The other maids came running to my room telling me that manga went to the street only dressed in her sheer Sari top and skirt , I tried to pull her in but she kept on repeating continous verses in Indian and banging her head with her own hands ..
Mom called " Zabo0o6a i'm at the agent's office now , plz try to get manga dressed and pack her bags as your brother is coming to pick her up"

I pulled her to her room telling her to get dressed gave her the Sari top part but she refused so i gave her a dress and a jacket she had and asked her again to put it on..
For my surprise she stood right infront of me and took her whole clothes off waiting for me to dress her..
Then she asked for food at the same moment my brother arrived asking me to escort him to the agent , we waited her to pick her bag then again Manga entered the room and went to the shower fully clothed..

Remember she was still reciting an indian song and doing these weird motions with her hand..

It was s much of a last minute thing, yet I managed to borrow my nephew's schools blazer & tie, a short fitted white shit with a bow on the waist and a ruffled mini grey skirt which I got from topshop some long time ago.
Along with knee high boots , tights and purple ribbons in my hair..

The Hostess of the event was wearing her mom's wedding dress with a lovely veil, it was such a nice evenning too bad I had this lousy neck pain and didn't enjoy the party as much..

After our joyous night at Five60 event " Sweet November" , Me and my BFF "Fara7" decided to celebrate our success and fill our tummies with yummy goodies

So after long suggestions Fara7 mentioned that she didn't eat any chinese food for over a month , then it came to my mind to take her to Wok N' Roll which is a small Chinese& Japanese Restaurant Nearby her house.

Wok N' Roll was first introduced to me by my sister which turned out to be pretty amazing , since the owner happens to work with her. So throughout work occassions he would cater the entire events with food from his restaurant.

Usually I order food by phone and they deliver to my doorstep but this time we decided to go in and have the food right there. To my surprise the interior of the restaurant was amazing considering it's a pretty small restaurant to start with .

As soon as we had a seat , I took the lead and ordered the food since we share the same taste in food .

And guess what ? Fara7 simply loved it ! Every course of the meal was nicely cooked, the service was really quick and the atmosphere was really nice.

As I mentioned in my previous post that i'll be participating in Five60 event " Sweet November", well I DID and it was Amazing ..

Far Beyond my EXPECTATIONS ..

Since I was young I had a passion for arts and crafts , making things outta basic materials as papers , fabric, beads, wood sticks,etc...

But I never thought about taking to the next level ,until last year when my friend bought this plain purple jacket for an upcoming occassion she had so after long shopping hunts looking for something to decorate her jacket , casually i told her

" 5alas , don't worry i'll make you a brooche !"

She knew i had something for brooches and necklaces in specific as i have custom made pink and purple brooches which my sister got me as a birthday present which I wear most of the time..

Packed my "Qash" and went to "Blockat" looking through the stores until the idea came to me; few buttons, swarovski crystals , ribbons and VOILA !

A brooche is made !

I dropped it of at her place, few minutes later she called and her voice was really happy she loved it !

I never expected such re-action but afterwards lotsa of ppl who saw my brooche complimented the technique and asked me for few orders.

To cut things short , I never thought I could take my tiny passion for accessories to another level , But I did IT !

Special Thank you to Ansam, my BFF Mayoooh & Fara7 who stood by me the entire time..

Another random post :

-The other day i left work early to drop mom off to the airport since she's goin' to "3umra" , on the way home a clumsy driver in an orange SUV swerved on my lane I managed to keep my vehicle steady and kept goin' but he kept honking his horn and making other swerves like a maniac . I don't deny that I was utterly horrified by his actions but tried my best to stay calm and focus on the road . He kept goin' until i reached my neighbourhood so i called mom and told her " plz mom 6l3aay barrah " since no one of my brothers was home but she told me that my young brother was home and he's goin' out now .

As soon as I reached home i just jumped outta my car while the engine was still running and slammed the house door right behind me.

My brother who was outside at the time took the worst act ever . I think he wasn't thinking clearly at the time and you know how teenagers sometimes are driven with their rage.

As soon as he saw the dude who was after me he hopped into his car and followed him which he shouldn't do at all. These things happened before and my other brother would just stand next to the door and give the stalker a furious gaze and whoever it was would turn around and leave.

but my Bro just followed the dude leey madrey wain and got him self beaten by 4 guys :/

He called mom screaming " 6agooniii yumma 6agooonii " , if i said that mom went ballistic at that minutes it wouldn't be enough " gamat tal6em 3ala rou7.ha " few minutes after a friend of my brother came to the front door with my bro. telling mom that he witnessed the whole incident from the beginning . My brother was badly beaten but thank god there was no permanent damage few cuts and bruises.

Gosh!I felt so guilty afterwards , I couldn't sleep that night and i can't help feeling paranoid that this stupid dude will still seek revenge or will stalk me while I'm driving again . Not to menthion that me and my lil' bro. never get along but this time I really felt his dearly love ..

- Second, I always taught myself " learn to admire not to envy " but there's a certain situation where i can't help turning green with ENVY! . Since I lost my dad at an early age, Whenever I see a father with his daughter tears swell in my eyes . Need I say more?

- My nutrtionist suffered from my weird diet so asked me to list the food which I dislike / allergic to :

- Banana.

- Coconut.

- Cucumber.

- Harees.

- Coco pops :( stupid allergy.

- Fizzy drinks ( Pepsi o rab3a)

- Ketchup.

And no i'm not allergic to ketchup I just hate it, though i like tomatoes.

- I guess this week was pretty fruitfull I finally managed to meet up with Shoush & Newbride

-First , those three last weeks were hell for me ! I dunno why but It just happened that i woke up on the wrong side of the bed for 3 weeks, everyday I tell myself tomorrow's another day I get slammed back to reality and it gets worse. ( work from 8 -4 , classes 7-9) !!

-Work can be described by this : "وهناك منهم معشر أفّ لهم كم ضايقوني", two employees of the department filed a complaint against me and to be honest this was my wake up call , limme tell you why:

- They accused me of being nafseya ; partially true since I'm tired most

of the time not having energy to interact.

- Work wise I'm 100% , socialwise : 0%

- Women are utterly jealous creatures.

- My problem is that I keep telling myself i need to extend my group of pals and make new friends but when i get the chance to meet new ppl i just sit in my shell ! Don't even give the person a glimpse of my personality .

- I'm trying my best to work on not to rely on my friends , If they favoured me I'd do likewise, there's no need for me to kill myself for anyone unless if i know they'd do the same which apparently they will never do.

- I need to put myself first and before everything else, never put ppl before me unless it's for my own good " even my mom seems to put everything before me" which hurts alot :(

- Why does marriage makes ppl change? today they're ur best friends but after marriage practically strangers, they'll act weird and try shut you down. " Ms.loala & NewBride I can feel you "

- Dear Sis " i never seem to understand you? you seem to be trying your best in makin' it harder , i tried my best but it's time for me to let go"

True i'm done with college but i'm working now in a Telecom. company . Too many HAWT ! guys ..

First there's the dude with feet fetish he can't take off his eye off my feet , mom tgo0l " lebsay dlaa'3 la tet7arwelain !" hehe. And the other hot guy who looks amazing , perfect complexion but acts like a teenager *yuck* ! Not to forget the cutie doll and the model who's totally meannn !

She treats me chenii bgara mafhaam ! She gave me something to write the other day which i did in couples of minutes and gave it back to her she was like " how do you know that? you wrote it yourself !" bleekh\

I wanna share with y'all a short story, I wrote back then:

As her alarm goes off to the second time and the clock indicates to 8 a.m , she thinks about hitting the snooze and goin' back to sleep to skip the class but no she knows she can't !
Every time she wants to skip she gets nightmares makes her regrets skipping after all..
As she drags herself outta her bed , there's 2 hours time until her class ..
Does her morning prayers scolding herself for delaying it until this time..
Jumps into the shower to wash off the long hours of sleep..
Sips her tea while Preparing her breakfast as she promised herself not to skip breakfast ever again after few faint incidents .. would it be a bowl of cereals? toast with cheese ? or some scrambled eggs ? As she makes her mind and munch in her breakfast ..
She goes back to her room to check her wardrobe , " college wardrobe" to be more specific whereas she has certain outfits to be worn only for college ..
Dress up in her clothes , latest designer handbag which most of her friend envy's her for..
Even though she didn't pay a penny for the bag she only got it as a gift.. Her latest designer jeanz..
She hates wearing such things but she does that just to fit in.. Remembering the re-action when she wore "Abaya" for college .. How everyone avoided her as if she was a contagious disease..
Her mom's behavior how she got her brand new clothes just to make her stop wearing a "Abaya"..
To get rid of her mom's nagging she gave up her *Abaya* , and went back into her casual clothing..
She shifts to the mirror to apply some make-up , as she utilise from the make-up courses she took .. Uses the least amount yet it brings out her charming features..
Tips her lashes with kohl and mascara.. Make sure to bring out her pretty moles which frames her face perfectly.. Picks the lipstick of the day " shall it be ; pale pink, ruby red, or provocative fuschia? her choice fells into the pick as she define her pouty lips with a dap of lip-gloss..
She puts on her veil.. makes sure to cover every inch of her luscious hair .. not a strand to escape..
Unlike what you may think , the veil bring out her features more..
She knows she's beautiful , yet she hates this description .. She's prefer to be called smart or intelligent rather than pretty..
She rathers to be admired by her mind not what she looks like.. She knows that alot of her teachers judge her by her look .. thinks she's shallow .. good looking .. and empty inside..
yet she manages to impress them with her idea's and thoughts.. How she enhales and absorbs every piece of knowledge..
As she finishes up dressing up.. She looks for her shoes.. Ballerina flats for 2day..
She stuffs her bag with her note book and pencil case .. Side to side with her make-up bag and wallet..
Checks her PC for today's assignments , for her surprise nothing to hand in today.. As she does her homework weeks ahead so when it's due only prints them out on the day..
Picks her thingies.. and walk down the stairs of her house.. Her flats tapping on the marble floor..
As she reaches the front door , she hears her mom calling her saying" Wain rai7a?"
This question slams her to bring her back to reality, that she's no longer a student ..

Yet she's unemployed..

And my six quirks ARE :
1. I used to wear a back-brace for 7 years of my life, since i suffered from nasty backaches and a slight type of hunch-back which somtimes affected the way that i stand or walk but I stopped wearing it after high school yet i managed to hide it all through that phase though I'd wear it occasionally when i go for a walk .
2. I'm used into sleeping while squishing a stuffed animal since i was 7 , Istill do that and I undersand how much my teddy bear suffers .
3. Ketchup, is my worst enemy i can't tolerate it smell or taste it cuz my cousin used to make me eat it with everything even with cookies . I pushed away since i was 5 yrs old until now. I usually have my friez or food with Mustard or Mayo .
4. I have 10 moles , 5 of them are spotted on my face and neck .
5. Before i go to bed i have to read at least one page outta a book , if i didn't have any new ones i would just read a page of Quran or go through an old book i already read. Sometimes when i'm too tired to read you'd find me clutching the book while i'm asleep.
6. When i need to concentrate , I have to play with my fingers or pull the cuticle around my nails some may think i'm somewhere else but usually i'm in full focus that way. Even during classes my teachers used to be pissed by this habit but afterward they'd manage to understand.
For that reason the skin around my nails is in a desperate condition for a manicure . :/

- Talk about random ! A really random title this time , why ? don't ask just read .

- This summer is totally a festive one ( allah ydeem elafra7) just came back from an engagement party o i have 4 weddings coming up and all around the same week so i've been through hell through out looking for party dresses and all that crap ! which i hate o elmoshkilla all of them are related ya3ney i can't wear the same dress for the other wedding cuz they'd have seen me in the same dress 3 dayz before ( Ugggggh !) yeah but solved the problem and told mom i'd attend 3 outta the four weddings and that's it . To be slammed that my cousin is havin' a wedding reception the upcoming week and I feel obligated to attend cuz i didn't make it to her wedding :/ bleekh !

- I'd finish my finalz this upcoming Wednesday and turn 22 the Wendesday right after it , huh !
isn't it a pleasant graduation gift or what?

-And since the counting down began , it makes me think seriously about my future ! I really wanna pursue masters so i better get goin before i get cold feets , help anyone?

-I had a big fat argument with my best friend and we haven't spoken since , Mmm madrey meta?

- It's lovely to have a sister , but me and my sis never seem to get together eventhough we live at the same house . I've always blamed it on the age gap among us ( 12 yrs)

- Teenage kids are like hell , this a confession i'm ashamed to make that i haven's spoken to my brother since ages cuz everytime we talk it turns into a huge fight ! I tried to make it work but couldn't help it anymore so we ended up not talkin' at all .

- Have i mentioned how much i loved my mom ? Gosh , she's my best friend and the one who'd always run to , my salvage , my shelter . How many girls around my age rather hangin' out with their mom's instead of their friend ? that's me for sure ;) love yaw mama .

- Few weeks ago, i dreamt of my dad (he died longtime ago ) in the dream he was happy he huggd me and gave me a kiss i'm just glad that i saw him it's been ages since he paid me a visit through out my dreamz as if i had a connection with him ! As i heard a sayin' today " little girls marry their fathers " i'd pray for this to come true cuz i know i'd be truely blissed !

-Call me selfish but i didn't tell anyone about my dream , dunno why ? everytime something like this happen i'd run to my mom and tell but this time i felt like keepin' it to myself .

-I'll call that a wrap for now , maybe sometime later on i'd do another garga session !

UPDATE:

The witch found herself cornered , so the mask she had on for a while had fallen ! she began yelling and acting in a mean way !

Mom went to the ministry wondering why is she transefferd into another school and she was slammed with answer " ur principle asked that " !

Tadaaaa , soo now everyone in school is turning against the witch and mom went and wrote her statement to be transeffered as well as several of her staff !

What hurts that mom was telling me that she was gonna work for one more year before she retire , that she wants to spend it in her beloved school but now i don't think it's gonna happen !

i'm so upset my tears are stuck in my eyes but won't come out , even though i cry easily and most things moves my senses but i'm wondering now why can't I cry !

Let me be more clear , i'm really upset for my mom you see she's been working for Ministry of Education for over than 35 yrs and she loves her job.

Why i'm saying she loves her job cuz i see her everyday getting ready to go, she wakes up really early that she's the first one from the faculty member to arrive I see how happy she is to go to work , she began working as a teacher and now she's a principle asst. at a kindergarten she was offered the principles position several times before but always refused to take the offer cuz she thinks that a principle is only a prestiege while the asst. does the entire work which she enjoys doing and that she'd never leave her school behind.

She worked in her current school for over 15 yrs now , her teachers love her when we bump into them i'd see them hugging and kissing her eventhough they've been with her during the day or when some off her old colleagues which she worked with before and the way they talk about my mom carried alot of deep respect and love towards her.

The thing is her principle which she worked with in the same school for over than 15 years was transeferred ( tadweer) to a different school 2 yrs ago , i remmember how sad she was cuz they were more than sisters and really attached together.

But mom didn't make this an issue and just kept on doing her job until another lady came to fill the position , she was really excited about her and spent hours talking about her new principle.

Sometime ago she invited her principle over for dinner , to be honest i was shocked to know that this woman is my mom's boss .

I detested the way she talks , the commanding tone in her voice eventhough mom was her senior by many years .

My mom ( bliss her heart) is kind and sweet you can't help but to love her ,

" swalef.ha matenmal " even my friends consider her as their friend.

Recently something went wrong in her school and that WITCH whom she calls a principle wrote a paper acussing her of false acussations to the Ministry to transfer mom from her kingdom ( school) since my mom worked in the same school for many years the teachers became really close to her they'd turn to her everytime they'd endure a trouble so the WITCH felt threatened by my mom and she thinks if she pushes mom away she'd be able to take her place !

Mom is upset for 2 dayz now , she's not complaining but i can see it in her eyes . Currently she is praying most of the time and tears filling her eyes.

I'd ask you with all my heart to pray for my mom .

To be clear I did my internship at Kuwait's University College for women this semester & and my guide through that all was Newbride , it was some new experience to spend my last college dayz in "Adeilya" in Girls only Campus to be more specific ..

Here's something i wrote to wrap things up as my professor asked to me write something about the experience i went through this semester ;) :

على أعتاب التخرج

في الثامنة صباحا يرن المنبه بصوته المزعج ليذكرني ببداية يوم جديد، تنسل يدي من تحت الغطاء لأغلقه ولأمني نفسي بعشر دقائق أخرى من النوم ، ويزيد إصرار المنبه على الرنين لأجر نفسي جرا من سريري الوثير .. من أحضان وسادتي .. ودفء لحافي .. وربما أعاتب قدمي لأنها طاوعتني على النهوض من السرير ..
أرتدي ملابسي وأتناول إفطاري على عجل، و يساورني شعور الطفلة التي تجبر على الذهاب إلى المدرسة كل صباح ، تلاحقني دعوات والدتي ولسانها الذي يلهج بالدعاء لي تارة وبالتذمر على شحوب وجهي تارة أخرى ، لكن ما أن ابتعد عن البيت لتصدمني زحمة الطريق لتزيد من تعكر مزاجي الصباحي تعكرا أكثر إلا أنني لا أنفك عن تذكير نفسي بأنها "هانت" ولم يبق على التخرج إلا القليل وفي سبيل العلم يهون الكثير ، وبشق الأنفس أصل إلى كليتي العزيزة " كلية الآداب "لأحضر محاضراتي وفي أثناء المحاضرة أفكاري تسرح بي يمنة ويسرة مابين مشاريعي مابعد التخرج وكوم الواجبات الذي ينتظرني في البيت بعد انتهاء الدوام لأرجع في نهاية المطاف لأرض الواقع بصوت دكتوري يجبرني على الانتباه أو بزقزقة بطني لتذكرني بإفطاري الهزيل .
تنتهي المحاضرات ، لكن هذه النهاية ليست سوى بداية يومي لأقضي بقيته مجازا في " معتقلي " ومعتقلي الدائم لهذا الفصل فقط هو "كلية البنات الجامعية "حيث ساقتني القرعة في فصلي الميداني إليها ولست هذا تذمرا من ذلك فما أن أصل هناك لأتنقل من قسم لآخر في أقسامها المختلفة أباشر مسيرة البحث والتنقيب فأستجدي الأخبار من هنا وهناك، أقابل طالبة وأخرى ،وأصور حدث وآخر .
قد أكون زائر غير مرغوب فيه في قليل من الأحيان إلا أنني أتناسى هذا على مضض بالترحيب الحار الذي يوليني إياه عامل المقهى هناك "بتضبيط" قهوتي اليومية وأحيانا بالسؤال عن حالي ، أو بممازحة أساتذة الكلية لي ومداعباتهم الطريفة بكوني أصبحت احضر هنا أكثر من طالبات الكلية نفسها وهذا وسام أصبحت أعتز فيه ، ومن الطريف بالأمر أنني في أول المطاف كنت أردد مابين نفسي

KitKat & mOre..

A new product of KitKat was released On January which I tried during my visit to UK on previous Jan. but it's sure took it's time to the public. KitKat Senses is quite easy to describe. It’s Nestlé’s answer to Kinder Bueno. Milk chocolate finger with wafer and a creamy hazelnut filling.

You can see as you try it , you get a single finger per pack divided into five chunks, each embossed with the KitKat logo. It looks pretty good and is still vaguely recognisable as a KitKat. It certainly looks more appetising.

When you bite into it, you get a satisfying crunch of wafer followed by the soft (if slightly too sweet) filling. But this is much heavier than a Bueno. There’s more wafer to get through and the cream filling just isn’t as light or smooth.

The other day 7san's had a post about " Kitkat senses , he also mentioned that it's not available in Kuwait so0 as for the high demand on this specific kind of chocolates and for more info regarding the shop's locations, Not to forget that Ansam thankfully came to mention about " Kakaw London which is available in some local Co-Op's (Qadsiya, Mishref , De3ya, Qurtuba & Surra ).

I'd like to add that Kitkat senses is available in Kuwait so as many other kinds of UK's most famous chocolates and candies such as rowntrees fruit gums & much more .

The answer to you all a small booth called London Chocolate is available at the food court of ALMuhallab's complex right next to PizzaHut as well as there's the main branch " Heathrow Mill " at 7awalii Tunis street.

مو قادرة اوصف فرحتي بالمعرض وبإنجاز رفيجتي صديقة التقيتها على مقاعد الدراسة ورفجتنا تمتد من أيام الثانوية ، اليوم حسيت الدنيا مو شايلتني من الفرحة لها والنظرة اللي بعين ابوها وفرحته فيها تسوى الدنيا ومافيها ، بداية رفيجتي بالتصوير كانت تصوير صور عشوائية ولقطات في المناسبات واليمعات بس إختارت إنها تصقل هوايتها بالدورات واللي كانت من خلال بيت لوذان قدرت إنها تفجر الإبداع الكامن في موهبة رفيجتي

Lately my world seems to be falling apart and i don't seem to get a grip .. Depression is surrounding me and i'm an upset state most of the time..

Friends are always the same i can't find them by my side but when they need me i'd be damned if i wasn't there for them .. I just begin to hate them takin' me for granted ..

Is something wrong with me? Is it a big guilt to be sweet, kind and somewhat naive? I admit it i'm a sensetive person but what's worse is that i'm begginning to hate myself , scold myself for everyword I say and every action i do ..

What's next ?!?

Since i'm a shoe addict I can't help but to notice what others have on, lately my cousin always had on those really cute looking shoes so she was forced to reveal her secrets and share the goods.

And as a result for my upset state those last few dayz i woke up today with an eye infection, puffy eyes and a severe headache .

P.S. : What i'm upsetting myself for doesn't worth it at all , but i'm stupid and sensetive as always so i think i kinda deserve it!

As i mentioned in my previous post that i'm goin on strike over the last weekend , and since i'm a girl of my words I stuck to it .. To be honset, ididn't thought i could do it for 3 dayz but i did it !

Any how let me tell you how did it go :

Thursday :

In the morning i went to college as usual, then went home since wehad our family lunch on Thursday, then later at night I went to Mishref to do my usual walk.

Friday :

I invited some friends over and cooked a hell lot of food i was taking pictures and Felt as if Marzouq as it reminded me of his food posts ;Pp

Here 's a HINT of what we had for LUNCH :

Broccoli Soup

Nacho Salad

Kafta with Tahina , Potatoes and Pinenuts

and Finally ,

THE DESSERT :

Chocolate Fondue

And about Saturday i just stayed at home but at night i went for a walk on the sea with some of my friendz ;)I came to realise that maybe i was the only one who did the boycotting and survived 3 whole dayz whithout shopping :Pp

A Month ago some dude sent an E-mail to declare a strike againt the prices raise , to be honest i didn't thought he was serious but since i take my mom to "Majla" shopping every week it made me come to realise and calculate how much we used to pay when we go to C0-Op to get house supplies .

As well as many other things which if i stayed all night long i won't be able to mention them all , such as Starbucks Coffee , clothing stores AND restaurants .

Which brings me to the subject , i told my mom about the strike she was really excited and spread the news to the whole family , we did most of the shopping today and gonna spend most of the weekend at home with NO SHOPPING at all !

Yeah ppl you all better do the same, to make them realise ena e7na manbee3 banak :Pp!

Heeeeey folk's i know it's been a whilesince i posted but i know i'm no good !

SO since school is out i'm heading to London with my friend for MUST needed vacation , asho0fkum 3ala 5air :)

This saying began to make a different since to me , what brought me to think about is today i was invited to a wedding along with mom .

I went to the wedding and i was totally SHOCKED ,OMG what are those girls are doing to themselves , each one looks like a CLOWN!

Excessive make up , disco ball dresses , funny looking hair colors not to mention they think it's beautiful !

What the hell is goin on , is beauty measured by make up or by covering ur face with a mask of flour !

Which i noticed it's not only in weddings even when we go out to a mall or so0 every girl puts on her whole wardrobe on !

WTF ! a face full of make up looks even worse than a china doll , a veil with blinding embroidery or a giant puffed hair , tight fitting clothes , sky high heels which kinda suits a party or whatever and funny looking eyebrows!

They just seem to do it because it's an "In" thing not because they think it's cute or because it's suits them!

At ramadhan i couldn't recognise some of the girls , because they showed up without makeup and their skin was in a mess their eyebrows were almost there !

Is there's some kind a code that makes all the girls wanna look like that! something wrong with their heads !

And the cherry on top is cosmetics surgeries it seems as everyone is getting a nose job except for me :P

C'mon people , what happened to real standards of beauty ? why is everyone focusing on the outside and neglecting the inside which is far more important !
